It's about time that I started an offical blog. My friends and family already know I have the travel bug. I lived in South Korea for 2 years teaching English and getting my Masters, went backpacking in Europe in 2007 and am now traveling around S.E. Asia. I hope to get pictures up here of my previous travels and Korean life, but for now I'll stick to the current. Thanks for staying tuned! :)

- I refuse to settle for a mediocre existence. My passion at the moment is experiencing new countries and cultures first hand, which has led me to teach English in South Korea and made it possible for other bouts of traveling in Europe and South East Asia. I'm currently in the process of submitting travel articles and would love to make a career out of travel writing. On a lighter note, here are some random facts about me: I'm a geek when it comes to reading and studying; history fascinates me; I love pitbulls; I want a kitty named Fuzz; birthday cake ice cream with sprinkles from Cold Stone is amazing; I've gone bungee jumping - (skydiving is next on the list); I've never broken a bone; I've eaten silkworm larva; I'm a horrible singer; life would be boring without music or a sense of taste; hiking solo is the most satisfying; Orange Chicken from Panda Express rocks; I think the Federal Reserve needs to be done away with; I abhor ignorance; I find geeky games like Yahtzee and Scattergories entertaining; I'm in the process of becoming a diehard San Fransisco 49ers fan; I love to laugh; I'm adventurous and will try almost anything at least once.
